Meeting Minutes 1/20/04

   Treasurer Report- $327.45  Also, membership fees would be   assessed  annually on the anniversary date of first membership

 Networking ( Business Promotion Leads)

 Local Awareness ( Town News & Voice of Business)

       Special Projects ( Support of  upcoming events State Fair,           Strawberry Festival, Main Street, Highland Games, Scholarship   Fund)

After discussion the focus of the group would be business promotion via networking, a  business directory,  WEB site for member listing. Local information would be discussed at the meeting. Fund raising was not an immediate goal of the organization for special projects.

·        Actions by the Association

Members must email and direct June Wallace  for listing and  provide a brief outline  of the  firm for the  web site. junewallace@jwbks.com.  One member firm would be profiled on the web site each month.

Membership  and business  promotion committee would  review mailing list for additional contacts and mailings for development of business  directory with the intent to sell advertising space. Directory would be placed thorough out the Town.

Don Drescher to contact Allan Hardy to attend next meeting and discuss the Fair.
